Mohamed Qarain
I was born in Yemen but lived most of my life in the United States.
Arabia Felix came to me when I was on a drive from Taiz to Aden in Yemen. I saw a woman walking on the of the road far from the nearest village or town that I could see. I started to wonder what her story was. That story grew in my head for 3 more years before I started to type it up. Then it took another 7 years for it to grow even more on my computer screen.
- Arabia Felix is a tough love letter to my amazing country of birth
- My characters may be Yemeni by blood but they are children of multiple culture, like me.
- I am not a writer by trade but I am storyteller by heart.
